My Kirk line

My KIRK line begins in Virginia. No connections have been made to the Old World
but we presume that the Kirks were from Scottland.
Araminta Kirk, b 1815 in Giles County, VA, daughter of Thomas Kirk and granddaughter of
Thomas Kirk, married Braxton DUNCAN.
Their son, Thomas Kirk Duncan married Eliza Cornelia Miller
whose parents were from Germany. Eliza and Thomas Kirk Duncan's daughter, Margaret
Lillian Duncan, married my great grandfather, Harrison Shaw Ransom Jan 5th 1899 in Moline,
IL.
