The Reunion Committee has selected the weekend of September 11th and 12th as the dates for our 50th Reunion. If you did not attend the last one in 2004, we sure hope you can attend this one!

The main event will be held on Friday, September 11th, with a dinner cruise on the Mississippi River aboard the Jonathan Padelford out of Harriet Island in St. Paul.

(This event will include a 3 hour dinner cruise and bus transportation to and from St. Paul at an approximate cost of $67.00 - $70.00 per person - determined by the number of people participating).

On Saturday, September 12th, we are planning a pot luck picnic at Fish Lake Regional Park in Maple Grove. This will be in the park’s four-season pavilion.

(This should cost approx. $15.00 per person, again, depending upon the number of participants).

The Reunion Committee requires start up funds to cover the advance costs for both events, therefore, we are requesting that you send a check for $25.00 as soon as possible but, no later than March 31, 2009, to: Karen Rath, 4104 Goldenrod Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55441 with the memo notation Orono '59 Reunion 2009.

A future mailing will have more specifics ie., Riverboat dinner selections, hotel & motel accommodations-locations and prices, request for updated bio information for our Golden Anniversary yearbook, and class photograph, etc., ... but first the committee wanted to advise you of the dates the reunion will be held so you can plan accordingly.
